Want to volunteer with us in Kenya but not too sure how?

What do you do as a volunteer?

A day in the life of one of our volunteers can change from day to day.

You will be taken on home visits, to see and learn where our children come from, their home life in the slums of Kaptembwa, see the challenges that our children face every day.

Assist with the families home by washing, cleaning, repairing their broken furniture, digging a latrine, helping with shopping and food.

Join us out on our farm, assisting with planting, weeding or the picking of crops so that our children are able to have fresh produce.

You will be welcome in the classrooms, assisting our teachers, teaching perhaps a new song, english, arts and crafts or marking their work.

Assisting in our orphanage. Bedtime stories, playing sport, helping with lessons and the meals for our children.

Remember… Your volunteering experience is our concern, but your adventure. Depending upon how much you wish to become involved will be how much you will feel that you have made a big difference not only to a child, a family or even to yourself. We would like you to be able to leave us to continue your journey knowing about those whom merely live on hope and how as a volunteer have made a difference just by being with us.
